From our humble beginnings as a Procurement & Supply Chain Management services provider with Chevron and ExxonMobil as key partners, we have evolved into a dynamic player in Engineering & Construction services. These are the significant moments that have shaped our trajectory.
2005
/ THE BEGINNING
• Westfield Energy Resources was incorporated.
• Commenced business with Chevron,
ExxonMobil as primary customers.
• Set up as predominately Procurement & SCM
services provider.
2009
/ THE EXPANSION
• Moved to office in Lekki Phase 1.
• Started the process of diversifying into
Engineering & Construction (EPC) services.
• Appointed Sole Rep for Powell Industries.
2014
/ MAJOR PROJECT AWARD
Awarded first major Projects (US$58m ABO Phase 3 Project by ENI) and (US$29m QPUDP Project by ExxonMobil.
2016
/ SCALING UP
• Moved to current office in Lekki.
• Set up Engineering Design Office.
• Scaled operations to pursue EPCI Projects
2017
/ MAJOR PROJECT COMPLETION
Completed ABO Phase 3 Project, Installation of Power Modules on QPDUP. Successfully carried our 1st FEED for Chevron (TRU Project).
2019
/ ADDITIONAL PROJECT AWARDS
• Awarded DED for the TRU Project (Chevron).
• Shell SSAGS Interdependency Project.
• Call off Contract for Flowline Installation &
Repairs (Chevron),
• Technical Manpower Supply (Total),
• Downhole Gauges (NPDC),
• End Devices (ExxonMobil),
• Preferred Bidder - SURF Installation for
Anyala & Madu Field - First E&P
2020
/ MILESTONE ACCOMPLISHMENT
• Completed The Chevron 18” Dibi Bulkline
Replacement Project ahead of schedule
despite pandemic.
• Completed the main scopes of the QPDUP
project for Exxonmobil / NETCO.
• Completed The Engineering, Procurement &
Installation of Flowmeters & Barton Recorders
for Platform Petroleum.
2021
/ MILESTONE ACCOMPLISHMENT
Commenced Asset Acquisition of a Pipelay Barge to be deployed for First E & P’s EPCIC of SURF Installation for Anyala & Madu Field.
2023
/ MILESTONE ACCOMPLISHMENT
Completed the reactivation of Main Installation Vessel (MIV) DLB Kenenna and successfully completed her sea trial in water depth up to 50m with activities including function and load testing of all machineries onboard, actual pipelay and recovery, as well as marine logistics performance and suitability of support vessels. Also successfully mobilized offshore to OML 83 & 85 (Anyala and Madu) for the construction, installation and commissioning of a 50km pipeline.
